Should I be seen associating with InsaneKJ?

This is Leopard Lizard, signing in. I am not a full-fledged karaoke host but more of a Flush--the power behind the throne. I have been assisting my boyfriend unofficially with his business for a few years. I maintain the songlists and order the music and equipment, etc. but don't run the actual show. (It is still disc-based at the moment.) However, I have been subbing for an injurred friend the past month so have been thrown into the fire and so far have not burned down the place or had any major rotation riots. (Knock on wood.) I like to keep up on the legal issues to keep us out of trouble.

Ours is a fun-based show, welcoming singers of all ages and abilities with the aim of letting them worship their favorite music by getting to sing it. We are in an extremely depressed area so we just want to give people their own little escape for a few hours. Although we are in a small dive, we attract visitors from around the world--well, one, anyway. We have also gotten in people from as far away as 20 miles. This is major as most prefer to walk or ride their bicycle home to avoid the Sheriff. Our show also has a sense humor, in case no one has figured that out. I have no great hosting abilities to boast about. Just always say, "Thank God we survived another week."

Associating with me may be considered INSANE!

Miss Lizard is not quite telling the truth.
She is a very good host in her own right.
She is able to set up, tear down and fault find problems.
More than some can do.

That may be more than most that I have seen are able to do! LOL

There are some people that call themselves KJs who are really lousy out here today.

It's also nice to know that LOL has a sense of humor, and accepts all singers at all skill levels. I think a sense of humor about this business is very important, right Steve. It is also to her credit if she can make a go of it in a depressed, small town setting, especially when she says there is competition even there. Good luck to you LOL.
