If you are already using the KJMPHD, you know the value of having access to the complete Chartbuster library at your fingertips. No streaming and it is always on your computer so you never have to rely on having internet access to stream (my opinion). Now if you are not a owner of the KJMPHD and you don't see the value, if SC were to add their library just as CB has, would you consider making the jump then even if there was a slight price increase of the initial KJMPHD? Let me know what you think. I will pass along any feedback I recieve. Without feed back sometimes the companies we do business with don't know what we really want.

if it contained more than just what's in the GEM series yes, I already have media pro so I guess it would mean just downloading the catalog.

I would assume that the Gem series (all 3 of them) are the only music that is available from SC at this time. If anyone knows more please enlighten me and the rest of us.

Adding The Sound Choice Library to the KJMPHD Empty Hell Yes!

I would definately jump on the bandwagon! As I said before, if SC had the same product (KJMPHD) as CB, it would be a win/win situation for professional KJ's that wanted to utilize PC/LAPTOP technology in their shows. There are tangable benefits for both the manu and the end use (KJ's).

adding the SC and Sellar catalogs would be a big plus to the media pro even for us longtime hosts......we would purchase it if Compuhost would patch the LD issue in a hot minute(until we have a fix for the LD's it is not an option for us). Even if different Manus tokens cost different amounts to unlock songs.

Then why are they offering discs for sell that contain songs that are not in the GEM series. Take 8832 for example, while it contains most if not all of the songs that are in the GEM series but also contains several that are not in the series.

I believe the GEM series was cut down to 6,000 songs in two steps if I remember my info correctly. The first step was from the complete catalog to 10,000 songs and then to 6,000 songs. So no the GEM series isn't their complete catalog.

But having access to the 10k that are on the GEM Series is a hell of a start!

There's only 6,000 in the GEM series.

For those that don't already have the GEM series, I guess it is a hell of a start but if that was all I had to choose from then SC wouldn't get an additional penny from me since I already have the GEM series. I support the idea of adding SC to the hard drive, just saying, that I hope it's more than the GEM series that they use for the drive.

I am looking to get the KJMPHD, but I will be buying the songs as I need them, rather than all 12,000 at once. I don't have that kind of money. BUT, If SC would jump on that bandwagon, I would be happy with that, IF there were no audit obligations. It would also be good for them, as a company. PHM would be a good addition to that, as well. I would NEVER use the GEM series. Sorry, but I want to own what I pay for.
